Notice at collection
California Code of Regulations 11 § 7012 requires that we tell you what personal information we collect, the purposes for which it's used, and whether it's sold or shared.
Categories of personal information we collect
- Identifiers: email address, Supabase user ID.
- Internet activity: IP address, user agent, interaction data.
- Advertising identifiers:
fbc/fbclidcookies (when you arrive from a Meta-sourced ad).
Purposes
- Provide and personalize the Mae kitchen assistant service.
- Operate, secure, and improve the product.
- Measure advertising effectiveness via Meta Conversions API (CAPI). This is “sharing” under CPRA § 1798.140(ah).
Sale / share status
We do not sell personal information for money. We do share hashed email, user ID, and advertising identifiers with Meta for the purpose of advertising attribution. You may opt out at any time using the controls above.
Retention
Personal information is retained per Mae's Privacy Policy. Opt-out request records are retained for 24 months per 11 CCR § 7101.
